C.C.Catch-I Can Lose My Heart Tonight
finally, I would die with this song just for the sake of it--fuck it
A "music box" for the live performances I like or feel like listening to once in a while...

such a powerful band! hard to believe it, after all these years...
Another great band from UK (summer 2007)
Power and might in this new band from the british isles...
Miracle fortress just came out with a new album (summer 2007)! some of the songs are pretty good...
Proving that some particular music from some particular bands stays, no matter what... thus, a sifting process is ever needed... There are bands and bands...
just a reminder of a powerful innovative band... the 1990s were more innovative??
Just a little flashback; it was 1990 and the new decade sounded pretty good... Just relax and let yourself be carried away...
Performing at the low quality Primavera Sound 2007-
Primavera Sound 2007I think I saw it coming when I looked at the arrangement and schedules... It might be chaotic, and then, it was both chaotic and low quality. So much for the human crowds, coming and going; in addition, we had to put up with simultaneous performances as well as lack of space for some big bands... while others had all the unneccessary space they possibly needed and wanted. Any way, Modest Mouse almost playing at the same time as Girls agaisnt Boys…. The first one in a small stage, and the other one in a bigger one that could have easily adjusted both... And then Planetas as the leader band in a place that made Jota's voice even more inaudible...
Then, we were punished more by the mike in Band of horses's superb performance, paused by such vibrating inconveniences. Our hair could stand with all those electricity-charged chastisements. Little by little, the festival descended to low degrees, which were not so in past years. By 4 am, the singer from Built to spill could not stand it any more and stopped their enthusiasm. I guess they also noticed how unfair the whole arrangement had been.
The Portuguese X-wife could at least do justice to our eagerness for innovative and talented sounds. We did enjoy their humble generosity there. Girls agaisnt Boys produced a positive experience too; I only wish I could have enjoyed them more without having to move fast. And Portastatic were also a nice surprise. About the leader bands, no comment, although The Fall did not fail to interest me, at least as an anthropological study.
I only hope that this festival is not becoming too commericalized, or maybe it is already too late (many shops popping up like mushroom...). That wasn't the (only) reason for the festival before.
Here is the latest (to date) performance by The Fall, where we were part of the audience...
March 2006. Tremendous performance in RPS. We were struck with lightning from San Francisco...
